Here’s what Alex’s new family has to say:
“We wanted to send you an update on Alex since we’ve had him for the last 6 months. He is a wonderful dog and fits into our family well. Him and Levi get along great. When I take them out for runs and because Levi is so much older and slower, Alex will run ahead, but always comes back to check up on Levi. Since Levi has always eaten whenever throughout the day, we let Alex do the same. But apparently Alex doesn’t know when to stop and when the vet told me that he was becoming overweight, I had to change both of their eating habits in order to monitor that they were both eating what they needed. They now eat 2 small meals a day.
Alex is a cuddler who wants to be laying on top of you all of the time. Sometimes he looks so uncomfortable and I can’t believe that he can lay in some positions. I really don’t think that he is that comfortable, he’s just happy that he is cuddling with you!! He wants to be wherever you are, even if that means following your exact footsteps…REALLY CLOSE. I’m not sure if his other owners left him home alone a lot…but it seems as though he is always scared that you are going to leave him. That is why I think he enjoys Levi so much during the days.
Alex quite enjoys the days when we forget to take out the garbage. He likes to drag everything out all across the house. I know that it is him who starts it, but Levi is very quick to follow. When we open the door, his ears are already back and for some reason he isn’t excited as he normally is when we come home. ( I’m sure in his mind he’s thinking and asking us “why would you leave me home all day with that temptation??)
We are so happy with Alex and have totally fallen in love with him. We are so glad to have crossed paths with you.”
