Greta
Greta went out on a test run with a family from Spokane. She went with a female rescue Weimaraner of the same age. The two of them were having a bit too much fun romping through the house and gardens. They consulted Nancy Lane and with her support and guidance everything is under control.
“They have been better since we implemented the suggestions you gave Ed. It’s still a lot of work having them both but we cannot bear to choose between the two of them soooooooooo….we will keep them both! They have a good and loving home here and I can’t see the point in separating them now.”
She was released to German Shorthair Pointer rescue in July 2003 and was fostered in Helena. She has gained weight since this photo was taken and is an age appropriate, active and healthy dog. We believe she is 1 – 1.5 years old. Greta is white with a few liver freckles and one large patch in the middle of her right side. Her tail is liver with a white underside. She is spayed and current on her shots. She is housebroken, good with cats and other dogs. She is crate trained, does not dig or challenge fences or the child gates in the house. She is very quiet. Greta is tall for a female and weighs about 60 lbs. She has had some hunting training and retrieves to hand. She does not appear to be gun shy. She loves her toys and to play ball. She is very affectionate. Greta is a wonderful family and hunting companion.
