Rocket

Rocket was a 2-year-old spayed female. She was housebroken, very good in the house and crate trained. She could jump a 6 ft fence. Rocket really liked people and loves to sit in your lap and be loved. She had a strong interest in birds and has natural pointing ability.

“So far so good with Rocket. Both Mary and I worked late last night then went to the gun club to walk Rocket. My best hunting buddy was there with his English Pointer and English Setter. I had Rocket on a check cord but decided to let her wear an e-collar too. To make a very long story short, Rocket pointed two Huns, comes most of the time when called without the e-collar and only needs to hear the beep of the e-collar to immediately return to hand. She heels pretty good most of the time and likes to ride in the pickup and Jeep.

I am very fortunate to have adopted Rocket. Rocket is already proving to be a good companion and she will be a good gun dog with some work. She will get better with time. I am scheduling her for a Vet check up this week. I let you know how she is progressing. Many thanks again”
