Shadow

Shadow was a 6-year-old neutered male whose elderly owner passed away and Shadow was in the home with him for approximately five days until authorities entered the home. Although shaken up, dehydrated and hungry, Shadow was in good health. He was held until authorities could notify the family, but alas, no one would take poor Shadow. Shadow was taken immediately into rescue as he was taken to a 100% kill “shelter”. Volunteers drove and fostered him in three legs during part of the worst winter weather to ensure his safety. Shadow was placed with a new family where he is thriving.
